Happy Halloween

We had free movie tickets tonight for one of AFI's festival movies... 'Wake in Fright'. We left 30 minutes before we needed to be there... knowing that traffic @ Mann's Chinese Theatre would be crazy... especially on halloween... we gave up on the movie after an hour of gridlocked traffic... It took one hour to go 1.7 miles...

So... we're all dressed up for halloween with nothing to do... no trick-or-treaters on our street even..

Zombie Lance

Mark Hoppus - Blink-182

So... we went to this today... Lance got to meet Mark Hoppus... while I drove around looking for a parking spot for 20 mins!

Here's how the conversation went:

Lance: You're my favorite person i don't know personally!

Mark Hoppus: You're my favorite person i don't know who you are!

Unfortunately, Lance left the CD with me thinking I'd be along shortly. Neither of us knew it would take me so long to park. He was a really nice guy and I'm sure he would have taken the CD if Lance had it on him... :/

Oh, and we didn't win the bingo game...

Chance's Visit

So, while Chance, Lance's cousin, was visiting we went to Santa Monica the first day he was here. Here are some pictures from the pier:

We later walked over to 3rd street promenade...

The next day we went to Runyon Canyon and hiked then went to El Matador Beach... It's so beautiful there.. wish we could go everyday!

Anniversary + Farmer's Market Weekend

This Saturday was our dating anniversary! It's been nine years! WOW!

I woke with sunflowers and a card :D

Sunday we went to two farmers markets. Found some yummy grape tomatoes, strawberries, sweet pepper goat cheese, and fresh pita bread. Yummm

Wells Fargo Job

Just got done with my Wells Fargo job interview!!! It went extremely well. I was asked along with three other applicants to stay behind and expand on our experience and were given an opportunity to sell the branch manager something. The branch manager has three full-time positions and said he selected us because we stood out among the rest. He said the 4th person he doesn't hire, he'll be sure to forward their information to another branch for hire!!!

So, to summarize... I met some new friends AND will (hopefully) be working for Wells Fargo in the near future! How exciting?!

Free Museum Weekend

Lance and I went to USC this weekend and visited the National Museum of History and the California Science Center.

Lance rode the High Wire Bicycle, too! ...I was too scared

On the way home we walked through a huge rose garden that smelled wonderful and reminded me of Alice in Wonderland.

It was a great weekend!

New Moon
